    Hi all,

It started with Norton 360: wouldn't update, hasn't updated for 91 days now. I disabled Norton on startup and installed AVG, and now AVG won't update either.

System is bot-free XP Home SP3, approx three months old (i.e. Norton has never updated, even if it's a 90 day trial), I had a bit of trouble with the Automatic Updates (reregistering wups2.dll didn't help) but updated through IE>Windows Update eventually.

Anyone know what might be interfering with these update processes? Any other ideas appreciated!!
    Thanks in advance

You shouldn't have both installed. Choose one and uninstall the other. If Norton is a trial version, I would definitely remove that.

Once uninstalled, run CCLeaner. Then go to the AVG web site and see if you can update.

    Good to know.

We do not close threads just in case there are additional issues that may come up. ( If no additional posts, it will just fade into the MG's back closet ....hehe/.)
