I just purchased a dell latitude ls off of ebay and when I looked at it it's too small to have an internal drive. I didn't know this and bought a dvd rom drive also off of ebay. My question is I have an external floppy with the cable and what im wondering is if I can use the same cable for the dvd rom drive or do I need to get a different cable. If I do need to buy another cable what do I look for? Thanks

I may be wrong in this, but I believe you'll need a different cable. Floppy's generally have a different pin configuration than IDE drives like rom's and HD's.

I'm not sure what cable you'll need, but iff someone here can't tell you then ask at your local computer repair shop. They should be able to tell you what you need. I'd then try finding it online.;)
