it is very loud and annyoing

what could be the problem . it is software or hardware.

Is the buzz coming from the speakers or the computer case?

it is coming from the speaker area. it is coming from where the power on button is on the dell studio 1537. it is in the top right hand corner.

It could be a loose wire to the speaker. Being that the unit is under warranty, I'd contact Dell support and see about getting it fixed.
