Dell Studio 1737

Not sure where this topic falls hardware or software.
Issue: audio play fine in wmp. If i try to watch a video on youtube or play an avi there is a lot of static and popping noises. thumbnails for photos show with a pink tint
What I have done to try and fix the issue. I work for Dell so I let you know what I have tried already

Hardware: Replaced MB 3 times, AC adapter, memory, hardware, audio board, daughter board, wireless card and LCD back cover, palmrest w/ speakers.

Software: I have tried vista 32bit, win 7 home 32bit, win 7 64bit pro and win 7 ult 64bit.

Drivers: I have used standard windows generic drivers and installed what comes on drivers disc. I also have tried different bios versions.

Im not sure what else I can do Dell TS is terrible.

I have three hard drives with 3 different setups. The one that works decent is win7 ult 64bit with windows generic drivers. If i use idt driver audio becomes worst. if i install chipset drivers ie web pages does not load.

Any advice will be appreciated

Start - Run mmc devmgmt.msc - ok :wave

 

Nope all drivers are installed correctly.

 

If I understand your problem correctly, it only on Youtube and other online sites? If not, please clarify.

You have replaced almost all of the hardware, have tried different operating systems and different drivers, yet the problem persists?

Could it be Flash Player causing all this? Have you tried an older Flash Player version, e.g. 11.2?
