Derbiz.com - What the hell?

I have just been inundated with popups etc thanks to a web address called Derbiz.com it has changed my homepage countless times and I cannot remove it even using Spydoctor etc.

I have seen that a post already in here detailed a procedure for removal using Hijack software.

I have run the first leg and got a log of the results which is attached.

Anyone out there that can help rid my poor PC of this scourge??

 

You read the hijack sticky, did you follow the steps in this one?

 

After doing ALL of the steps in the READ ME and you still have a problem:


Download HijackThis 1.99.1

Unzip the hijackthis.exe file to a folder you create named C:\Program Files\HJT

Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the ZIP file as your backups will not be safely stored.

Before running HijackThis: You must close each of the following:your web browser, e-mail client, instant messenger, and programs like notepad, wordpad, MS Word etc. And any other unnecessary running programs.

Run HijackThis and save your log file.

Post your log as an ATTACHMENT to your next post. (Do NOT copy/paste the log into your post as it will be removed).

Seems to be okay. All those things seemed to go thru the PC like a dose of salts. Been fine for a day now!!
