Can anyone tell me how to create a shortcut on my desktop from a website a friend of mine needs for school?

    She is running Vista.

Right click on the desktop, go down to "New," then choose "Shortcut." A new window should open up. Copy the internet address you wish to you use to your clipboard then paste it in the text box in the middle of this window (Under the label: Type the location of this item.") Hit next, then give the shortcut a name. Click finish, and you're all done! :)
