Desktop Windows Manager Questions

    Ok im using windows vista home premium and my DWM.exe is using alot of memory this wasnt like before it just started and it is slowing my computer down im not sure what it does or if its important but i just want it back the way it was can anyone point me in the right direction on how to solve this dilemma if you need anymore information just let me know
