Difficulty fixing MSN mail.mailhost

I did a reformat after partitioning my HDD, now I can't read my email and a prompt to save\run file "mail.mailhost" appears. First I saved it to desktop but no clue where to put it, then I searched for another solution through regsvr32 but was prompted that "I may not have the appropriate permission to access the file or windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file". I'm the computer admin. So maybe it's the missing file?

Can someone give me directions re: mail.mailhost please?

 

Close your browser, click the START button, and select run. In the run box type: regsvr32 C:\progra~1\msn\msncorefiles\mailui.dll and hit OK

 

I did try that but initially failed because a did not space between ...32..c::-o.
Everything is back in order and thanks for looking out plodr.
