I have a digital output on my Nvidea card but when I connect my monitor's digital jack I don't get a picture.

Does it need any special drivers?

I have had to set the monitor's on-screen menu to digital before (just one time only) after that it worked fine.

The card came with the PC so I don't have drivers. I don't recall seeing anything about digital drivers at the Nvidea site.

BTW which is superior analog or digital? I read that analog is better.

I kind of think it is personal taste. I like the DVI.

My Samsung 730B has an on-screen menu where you can set which interface you are using-- digital or analog. When I first hooked the monitor up I used the supplied analog cable and it worked fine. I later bought a DVI cable and when I hooked the monitor up with the DVI cable there was nothing, just a black screen. I found I had to switch it over to digital input via an on-screen menu. Maybe that is what you need to do.
