Lately for no apperent reason some games started acting up, so I did a dxdiag test. Here's what I got:

Direct3D 7 test results: Failure at step 8 (Creating 3D Device): HRESULT = 0x887602eb (error code)
    Direct3D 8 test results: Failure at step 8 (Creating 3D Device): HRESULT = 0x8876086a (3D not available)
    Direct3D 9 test results: Failure at step 8 (Creating 3D Device): HRESULT = 0x8876086a (3D not available)

I tried to re install Directx but that didn't help. Just in case I re installed the drivers for my graphic card, but that also didn't help.

    I'm running Win98SE with GeForce 2 MX400 for a GPU.
    Got any ideas?

Um... Not giving much to go on.

Windows errors dont tell anybody much. My first guess would be to make sure you have the latest motherboard drivers installed. If you reinstalled the graphics card drivers, your probably running ancient drivers. Get them from http://majorgeeks.com/download3296.html
