Disable Windows Explorer in win98

    I have been searching through the internet to find ways of disabling windows explorer in Win98SE but to no avail. Any assistance rendered will be much appreciated.

    This would require an effort in the registry...why disable windows explorer?

    Do you mean Internet Explorer?

    Not Internet Explorer. It's Windows Explorer I want to disable; I want to prevent my kids from deleting anything on my computer accidentally via explorer or MY Computer.

    Set up seperate user guest accounts for the kids without administrative access!
    configure your Admin account with a password and block chosen folder access! They can't install any new and they can't delete any old...easy
