    Hi all,
I'd like to know how to disable AMD Radeon 6470M gpu, so that Intel HD 3000 gpu is used instead. It looks like the discrete gpu isn't switching to integrated gpu automatically when the gpu load is low, though I'm not sure. The new battery of my laptop last only a bit more than 2 hours, and that's when I leave the laptop idle... So I'm guessing it may be the gpu. I'm using Windows 7.

Can you post the model of your laptop:)Is it a HP?

First check at the manufacturers website for bios updates or fixes that resolve the issue,if its a HP they have bios fixes for various laptops.

1.Download the latest Intel driver and catalyst driver
2.Uninstall both the Intel and catalyst driver.
3.Install the Intel driver, reboot, install the catalyst driver.
