Disappearing BIOS Boot Screen

My computer suddenly stopped showing the BIOS boot screen. When you turn it on the monitior stays dark until the Windows Welcome Screen Begins. There are no other issues that I can see at this time.

Is there anyone who has had this same problem, and if so how do i fix it short of throwing it into the front yard.

Try: hitting F1, del, F10, during the darkness period.

BTW, what model and make is this computer, or is this a homebuilt computer?

I've seen your situation before. It is more than likely your monitor switching between different resolutions, that prevents it from displaying a screen, until it gets stablized.

 

Is there any way to fix that? I have not changed monitors and it is only of late that this has started.
