display framerate on nvidia cards

    i noticed a friend with an ati card using a small utility that displays the framerate of the games while being played in the upper right corner. is there any such utility for nvidia cards? thanks!

    Google for a program called fraps.

    Also does recording too, really slick little program.

    Depending on the game you are playing, most games have a console command to give you that kind of info in a hud.

    in cs and dod etc (hl & hl2 games/mods) the console command is
    net_graph 3
    that will give you data in/out and fps and choke etc
    showfps
    will give just fps

    Might have a sqwizz at that fraps myself too.

    Me might have been using the Radeon Omega Drivers (IMO great drivers), there are also Nvidia Omega Drivers, they have this option where the FPS rate can be displayed in different corners of the screen.
