    Hello,

I am having trouble with my display. When accessing the internet I have noticed that IE is jerk when scrolling. I have also seen it when using other applications like word and Acrobat. At first I though this may be a display adapter problem but now i am not convinced. I noticed a similiar thread on the site that appeared to be a result of Malware. I am concerned that this may be the cause of my issue too. I have run Adaware and Spybot and have cleaned up the few issues it found but the problem remains.

    My system details are:

XP Pro SP 2. IE version 6.0.290.2180.
    AMD Athlon XP 1733MHz, 512MB.
    Asus A7V8X, VIA VT8377 Apollo KT400.
Video: nVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440. LeadTek WinFast A180 DDR

I ran HiJack This and have been unable to resolve the issue myself. Here is the resulting log file:

Any ideas? I am pretty cheesed off and out of ideas.

    Okay, RFI.

I am now going through http://forum.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407. Looks like I done everything I shouldn't have done. Will update this post if I am still having trouble. My machine is still running like a dog though. I have already tried the online scanners and nothing found thus far. Maybe it isn't spyware/virus after all.

Please read the announcement and run stickies before posting logs. Also do not post HJT logs inline.

However, your HJT log did not show any malware. This does not necessarily mean you are not infected. It just means for the the items that HJT shows, there were no problems found.

You can either look into some of the Alternative Scans in the READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support sticky or you can pursue possible hardware driver issues in the Hardware Forum.
