Display pc monitor on tv

    Hi: Is there a way to show my monitor/laptop content on a tv? For instance playing a dvd on my laptop and having the movie show on my tv as well. I'm hoping there's a cord of some sort that enables you to do this. Thanks.

    Well I know you can if you have a S Video port on your video card use that to go to your TV, I have done it it is pretty cool. But just watch out some tv's may not support doing this.

    If you dont have S-Video, do you have VGA port?

    Another option is too get docking station with S-video port.

    Post your brand & model laptop, include all spec's.

    last note, using TV for video is fine but to view Text & web pages, not so good.
