Just wondering if there is any new news or problems with this issue.

Seems the FBI set up some servers to help way back when and tonight midnight going to shut them down. This is supposedly going to cause some sort of minor blackout.

Also the have a site to check your computer, but what I'm hearing is that they only check the DNS for your provider.

Something is not making sense to me about this, I cannot put my finger on it. Supposedly, the trojan/malware changes the dns to some advertising site. Well why on earth would the FBI have a test for your provider info? If you have the trojan, the test does not test for this on the FBI site.

Can some of you please bring me up to speed on this? I pretty much use a mac, and have some windows machines, current with all updates, running avg. and only surf safe sites (at least so I think)

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

    Dave

If you were not redirected today, then all is ok with your system as far as the DNS changer malware is concerned. ;)
