Do better CAT5 Cables make a difference?

    Ok people i just upgraded my old computer!! but now... i want to see if my internet can get any faster... i have cable... and i have "internet accelerators" but is there anything like better CAT5 cables that i can get for a NOTICABLE differance?

    Well, there is CAT5e, CAT5E, and CAT6. Each are better than CAT5, but won't make a difference for what you are doing. CAT6 eliminates FEXT and NEXT (crosstalk) better than CAT5, and is better to use for long distances, or if you need the CAT6 specification. The"quality" of cable usually (from my experience) comes down to how good of a job the did person putting the connectors on the cable.
