Do I need to upgrade the ol' sound card?

    2.80 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4
    1024 Megabytes Installed Memory
    ASUSTeK Computer Inc. P4P800-E Rev 1.xx
    Bus Clock: 200 megahertz
    Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (build 2600)
    NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 Ultra

    and
    Creative SB Live! Value (WDM)

    Should I upgrade the creative sound card, or will it work with DirectX 9.0?

    Any help is appreciated.

    You don't need to ,i have and old sound blaster 128 PCI and still working great
    people who upgrade they sound cards are for the latest surround sound and
    latest quality.

    But for game your cards is fine and yes it is okay for direct X 9.0c
    Mine work great with direct X 9.0c.
