Does XP reinstall if you leave Repair unattended?

I booted with the XP CD and went to the repair stage where it deletes and reinstalls the core files and then went off to do some other stuff. When I came back it was at the 'Regional and Language' Options' of the install process. Did I miss a bit where you are on a time limit to make a decision about what to do next?

Thats normal. Repair will normally re-set up everything all over again, as if you were installing.

Yup that is normal, had to go through that process last night.

Thanks. Didn't think it did that last time I did a repair. Getting confused! Mind you my other system is being so cranky at the moment I wouldn't rule anything out.
