Download Safari Safely?

OK! This will sound stupid, but where can I download Safari safely? (I did do a search of the forums).

At the Apple Safari web page, there is no download link. Web searches are hopeless in finding an official download. The safest looking download site I found is
http://download.cnet.com/Apple-Safari/3055-2356_4-10697481.html.​

Is download.cnet.com safe?

Is Softonic a scam site? Malewarebytes picked off some of Softonic's web pages. Even without Malewarebytes,
Softonic looks bad to me.

At https://safari.en.softonic.com/download, Softonic really tried to trick one into downloading
something else. The closest button to the Download Safari header actually started the download for
the Securebrowser browser, not the Safari browser (later it might trick you into downloading something else--a new download trick perhaps every hour).
Never heard of Securebrowser. Once you find the actual button to download Safari you get the SafariSetup executable, which according to the installation
dialog box is from from http://appldnld.apple.com. Huh? Who in the hell is appldnld.apple? Aren't they just using apple like names to trick?​

Well, that explains everything. A simple google says the old version of Safari for Windows is a security risk.
