The 'cause' of the BSOD was the Avast! firewall component. There may be a bad driver elsewhere that triggered it though.

C:\WINDOWS\Minidump should contain minidumps which should help diagnose the problem, copy the latest 3 files to the Desktop, zip and Attach them to the next reply.
