drivers for a LG GA5163D DVD Burner

    Recently had my computer crash. Seems my LG DVD burner does not work, think I need to download the drivers. LG was no help. Any suggestions on where to find these drivers? Leslie

    What Windows version are you using asking this a generally Optical drives dont need drivers the OS takes care of those?

    Is this a Laptop or Desktop, plus is it a pre-built one as in Dell, Compaq, HP etc if so what model?

    Is the burner an internal or external one as LG have some internal and external ones with same 5163D coding?


    Do you get any error messages when trying to use the drive, if so what are they?

    Do you have any yellow ! marks in Device Manager, if so what?
