    Greetings

Since some time I'm experiencing a strange problem with my DSL via ethernet connection: initially after turning on the pc, it works fine without any problems. After about 10 minutes the pc is on, the connection dramatically devolves: I often can't connect to any website (if i press several times the refresh button of my browser, it usually finally manages to load the page) or mail server. I can't explain this lack of performance, expecially considering that:

    - The problem occurred both on my old system (which always worked perfectly, and it started to occur without me chaning any setting) and after a format which cleaned up everything (the pc is the same).
    - I use the Windows XP SP2 firewall and have a router connection, and I never got any trojan or virus or other trouble.

My system is Windows XP Professional + SP 2
I never had any problem with this configuration. Should I ask my ISP? Or could it be something else?
    Thanks,
    Matteo

Sounds like some application is using your connection. Try CurrPorts and see what applications is using network.
