Dual Monitors

Is it possible to set up Dual Monitors using a "Y splitter"?


If not, please offer an alternative solution, but not "buy another video card" Thanks.

 

if your video card only has a single VGA out, then the best i would imagine that you could do is use the dual monitors in a 'mirror' configuration, where they both display the same thing.

do you have a TV out on the card?

If your gamer might think about better card.

I'm guessing, the one Pictured, ya posted, I'm thinking will only allow mirroring.

I guess i should have checked my video card BEFORE making a post like this. I've already got everything i need. all i need is a DVI to VGA adaptor and i'll be good to go if i want to hook up 2 of the same monitor (2 VGA's). I have a video card with a DVI slot, S-Video, and VGA slot in it. Right now, i've got my roommate's Mac monitor hooked up to the DVI slot. Got my dual monitors up and i'm lovin it!!!
