DVD Burning ERROR Any HELP??

I have had this error pop up the last few times I have tried to burn a DVD whats it mean?

Try burning at lower speed maybe.

 

How do I turn down the speed?

 

It should ask you before burning or be in the options somewhere and since i dont have nero installed on this laptop i cant really tell you exactly. I had a similar problem on my old pc and i usualy turned speed down. I took longer but no more wasted cd's
