DVD copier software

Hey everyone...looking for the best dvd copier software out there.

Something that gives you great quality at a good compression rate.
Something I can use to archive with...half of my collection is copy protected.
Is there a speacial ripper one can use??

what about dvdxcopy?? does this work as they say it does??

 

yeah, i'd go for dvdshrink for the highest quality. I'd also put a vote for intervideo dvd copy 2, but that thing tends to act up on me a little. that and it costs money

never tried dvdxcopy, but it's probably not as good as dvdshrink

 

It works and it costs $99.00. The ones I listed are free, and they work also. It's your money.

 

IMO = DVD Shrink and Nero, sometimes if shrink cant beat the CSS then add DVD43free (version 1.4 is free) (By default shrink uses Nero's burning rom) when using nero you should delete InCD it causes problems ( in add abd remove programs uninstall INCD) Last tip on this one is must be using W2K or XP to use DVD43free version 1.4/ window's 98 users can use the newest dvd43 version, but it's not free.

For movies only = I copy dvd's 2 and dvd43free.

If your too cheap to buy software then for free, DVD decryptor and dvdshrink, dvd decryptor can burn use ISO mode

CDBurner XP Pro: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4242.html and DeepBurner Pro : http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4310.html are good freeware apps if you want to burn, but I prefer the Nero6, too.

whats 321 gone? my mom got me dvd x copy xpress but i havent installed it yet, i was going to wait till i research the product, but it sound good from you guys, so i think ill go ahaed and install it. am i going to have problems with copyrights?

 

321 gone removes a pop-up screen from movies backed up by DVDXCopy Xpress-here's a link about it with a download link and instructions from the author, and some user comments: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/55726 You won't have copyright problems as long as you don't sell them or file share them. If you mean copy protection issues, for $99, there shouldn't be any.

 

DVD X Copy is a reall good program, my freind has it and hasnt ran into a DVD he couldnt burn, he got it from best buy for $50.00 very good software. BTW DVD X Copy cannot be sold in the US anymore.

 

I upgraded to xp pro, changed computers, now I can't get 321 Studios DVD X Copy Plat. to work. It still is on my old hard drive, but I can't find the reg. file to activate it. anyone have any ideas??? thanks in advance.... POPS

I still use DvD Decrypter to rip and nero to burn. even if decrypter is no longer being developed, I yet to experience problems. but I am eagerly awaiting to test out DVD FAB ( ripper ) just in case it does happen.
oh did I mention the rippers were free.

I have dvdshrink , dvddefab decryptor, and nero full version and have only ran into 3 movies I could not copy. the names if anyone is interested in trying them are chicken little,when a stranger calls,and underworld evolution if you can please let me know what I am doing wrong.
