Dvd rom drive not showing contents of cd

    I have just formatted my hard drive and installed windows xp pro. Everything works fine except when i try to explore contents of my dvd drive after inserting a music or data cd i know contains information it shows blank, as if no info is on the disc. when i open media player it plays the music no problem at all. Can someone please help?

    try downloading the newest drivers + filmware for your particular dvdrom drive from the mfg
