DVD+/-RW firmware

Hello all: does anyone have the latest firmware dowload link for a NEC ND-3530A HH 16X DVD+/-RW drive for my old dell 3000 desktop... I don't have any warranty left on it so I cannot download the latest firmware download from the site...

Not very nice of Dell. Maybe if you know someone with current Dell Warranty, they could download it for you. I would have thought PC makers would support their product and not blackmail you by insisting on valid warranty to keep your PC going. Bazza

Hey man go buy for you new one by 20 bucks, these things are now from the cheapest computer parts I ever saw.
You go spend 35$ in some food at any resturant at least.
So why not having a new one, throw the dell my friend
