   Hi,
   
   I'm trying to display the time on a web-page (generated using jsp, jstl and java) and want to achieve a moving display (digital counter) without having to refresh the whole page. Please can anyone tell me how this might be achieved?

   Not sure why it would be useful-- can't think of a grapical OS that doesn't have a clock at the bottom of the screen already.
