~e5.0001 Currupted?

I just bought Universe At War Earth assault by sega and its for vista and xp.
I installed it and i click "Play" and it says insert the dvd disk its in there then i hit ok then in the corner in the tool bar says ~e5.0001 - corrupt File.

I don't Know what to do i reinstalled and nothing.

 

make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for that game:

also, did you buy it from a reliable seller? I've had that error from a game when it has been copied.

also, try updating the game with the available patch(es) and updating your graphics card drivers and directx.

 

after doing a little more digging around, it seems that the file ~e5.0001 belongs to macrovision, and it's copy protection software. The error can come from either a disc that has been copied, or having a program like daemon tools or Alcohol 120% running, with virtual drive(s) installed.
