eh? whadaya mean not configured? Modem probs

whenever i try to connect to the internet i get "Modem needs to be configured"
and in network connections there are no dial up and when i try to make a new connection dialup options are disabled.
im using a winmodem from lucent (apparently)
windows XP pro, normal setup, pentium celeron 700Mhz, built in everything appart from sound blaster player card, replaced this modem by built in worked fine up until now. v weird

 

with the modem in the Cd drive? that dosnt sound right
j/k i tried re-installing the drivers but dosnt help any.

 

try un-installing it Fishy...then re-install it with the drivers and then reboot

 

oh, dont worri, i just restored my registy and im back online.
must have done somthing dodgey to it!
