I am running Windows XP Pro SP3 and having a myriad of USB problems which are wreaking havoc on my MIDI keyboard's proper functionality (Axiom Pro's connection needs to be established with an unplug/plug after boot up). One USB Composite Device identified as eHome Infrared Receiver shows up in Device Manager with an exclamation point. I have seen others looking for drivers. But most are Windows Media Center owners using some form of remote control. I use no such device. So I am confused.
I DID have a Microsoft wireless receiver/adapter for an Xbox 360 controller (for PC gaming with an Xbox pad). But I uninstalled it and the drivers (and 3 other USB devices) once my problems began. Might this be it? And if so, do I need to reinstall it? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
