Emulator for Mario 64

anybody know how I can get Super Mario 64 on my PC?
I guess I would need an emulator for Nintendo 64.. anybody know anything anout this? I don't know mucgh.. thanks!

 

You are correct. You'd need a Nintendo™ 64 emulator, which you might find on the internet. There's a problem, though, Immaculate. The ROMs, (the actual game that runs on the emulator), under most circumstances are illegal, and therefore are not condoned by this site. I'm sure this is understandable, as this site's just covering their butt and staying away from the controversy and trouble.

And furthermore, even if you were to find a Nintendo 64 emulator, I highly doubt you'd find any ROMs available for download without paying some price for it... sorry that I couldn't help you... but I'd just like to advise you that the subject you're inquiring about is a touchy one. Sorry man... and best of luck.

I was playing this game Super Mario 64 in a hotel room last night. this game is old, but what a great game!!! This game should be remade or put out on the PC.. anybody else remember this game?

 

Sure.. it's not all that old, afterall. There might be some hope for you if you'd be willing to purchase the game. The emulator, if you can find one, should be free... then just buy the Mario 64 game legally, and you'd have nothing to worry about.

I'm not keen on the legistics of all the controversy surrounding this particular issue in games today, but I seem to remember that Nintendo™ is willing to sell the game legally to those who wish to use them with emulators on their PC... look into it. Should be plenty of sources on the net. Maybe you could clue me in as to the details of the issue.

 

better yet... where do you live?

haha if you were close to me... heck i'd let you borrow my entire n64 and Super Mario 64 .... all it does is collect dust in a cupboard somewhere....

and besides.... beyond super nintendo, all the other emulators have to many buttons to configure on your keyboard comfortably (unless you buy a pc gamepad) so you're better off playing the real thing IMO

 

Suggestion? I'd drop this convo where it stands...
