after 3 hours of playing this is all i have to say

controls = suck

my final raiting is.....ZzZzZzZzZz

the only thing i like about it is the ninja fighting style

I think it would be better if you got a controller for it, what did it get for reviews on consoles?

 

xbox it got a 7.2 and that is all i care about

im glad i rented it instead of buying it

hehe, in 4 hours you should have finished the first character, I mean like, why do games keep getting shorter to finish ?
maybe making more decent games would stop illegal copies

My first question is if you have seen the Matrix reloaded, and have you guys played as both Ghost and Niobe? Both characters have slightly different timelines. The game also parallels the Matrix reloaded. As david Perry, the president of shiny Entertainment, said, "If the Wachowski brothers had a 3 hour movie, they would have made this story." You must also appreciate that each character has over five-hundred moves, and that much of the acting in the cutscenes and such is actually motion captured from the real actor's faces. Also remember that this game had real movie sets and crew, with million dollar special effects because the Wachowski brothers allowed David Perry to use all the resources he wanted that was already their for the Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions.

This game is not meant to stand by itself. It isn't like splinter cell with a cool gameplay and easy features. It is supposed to be enmeshed with The Matrix Reloaded. the plot of the game affects the plot of The Matrix Reloaded and vice versa.

Also remember that the moves in the game are motion captured by Wo Ping's (the fight choreographer for The matrix, reloaded, and Crouching Tiger: Hidden Dragon) stunt men. You aren't using a made up martial art, you're performing the real moves!

I hate the controls of the game...I have it on x-box. But the hacking function is so cool. I can use it to drop weapons on certain levels, do cheats, and so much more.

On a final note, remember that you must play as both Niobe and Ghost. Both have different timelines and events in the game. Why else would there be two walkthroughs (one for Niobe, one for Ghost) in the strategy guide? And don't be like the jerk that claimed he finished splinter cell in 7 hours (he either cheated, played it on easy, or flat out lied)

Sorry I did buy the game,graphics not bad,good sound.You are right,controls do really suck.I am still playing the game.I am new to gaming.I'm stuck in the concorse with metal doors locked and helicopter circling and special forces keep coming out of the ceiling.How do I get out of there.I wait by the wall and throw a granade before they drop down and all die but one or two.Do I have to take out the chopper then leap out the window.Does bullet time help or not.Should I try to hack my way out.?????????

The bullet time stuff is called focus. Take care of the soldiers when they co0me out of the roof...then hold down the focus and fire as many bullets as you can at the chopper...if it comes back around, hide in the corner so it won't shoot you, then start the whole process over...

 

ok, master joshi, understand, I am a huge matrix fan, seen reloaded two times in cinema now, and I can really appreciate when game developers put time , money, and special stuff in their games, BUT , you shouldnt be able to finish one character in 4 hours, NO cheats used there, the graphix are ok, but not amazing.. and urrr, if its got so much different moves, why dont they come out then ??

 

The number of moves I got from the bonus DVD. I've been able to do some amazing moves myself with focus and a few combos. The short movie they have explaining all the work required is where I got most of my info...then reading almost every preview of Enter the Matrix in the gaming magazine subscriptions I have (one from PCGamer, Game Informer, Xbox magazine, Electronic Gaming Monthly...)

 

i've got a friend that rented the game to see if he liked it, and he said he didn't even get any sleep b/c he was playing the game all night long. so i know he likes it, but he likes things that most people don't.

haha. Actually after Enter the Matrix was released, Atari's shares dropped 28% The game was rushed so it could be released when matrix reloaded came out, played it on pc, HORRID game....

 

My question is, Has anyone tried the hacking function? According to the guide, I can unlock some major things with it...like weapons drop points, maps, powerups, etc...

 

My cousin has the ps2 port of it and he said he unlocked a sword mode so when u throw you take out a sword and dice em up.

 

i just beat it last night...i really like the matrix 3 trailer....but i dont think it was worth the wasted time playing the game
