Epox 8RDA+ Sound Problems

I play call of duty, and run it with ventrillo in background. But every now and then my sound goes all crackled and muffled for the rest of the game till i quit then restart.. Its really annoying as you can imagine, playing in a war then you sound going all muffled and crackled. I use the onboard sound. I am using the drivers which came with the cd with my motherboard.

I've got the same motherboard, and there've been quite a few driver releases for that motherboard, with some performance in the sound chip. You can download the newest drivers from http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_udp_winxp_4.27

I'd also update your version of DirectX. You can get that from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.aspx

 

Can i just install those drivers over my current ones ?
Or do i need to remove mine first then install them ?

No, you should remove the old nForce drivers first. For DirectX just install over the old installation.
