Epson Printer Icon On Taskbar Keeps Disappearing?

Hi, I have an epson nx125 printer and i set the printer icon shortcut so it appears on the taskbar, but after awhile it disappears, I go back to the setup and the check mark is still in the box for putting it on the taskbar, but its not there. I have to keep going into setup and unchecking and rechecking the shortcut box, then it appears again for a few days, then disappears again. how can I get this printer icon to stay on the taskbar for good. Is there any setting in the registry that I can use? If not can anyone tell me how to make it stop disappearing? Thanks

 

Right click by clock>Properties>Customize notification icons.

Make sure you haven't checked "Hide."

Reboot and it should be there.
