Error Message Catalyst Control Centre

    I have had my computer for 2 days.

    I am receiving the following error message

    Catalyst Control Centre: Host Application has stopped working.
    A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

    The message is random and infrequent but it is annoying.

    What is this and can you help?

    that program is associated with ATI graphics which should be accesible thru your graphics properties, I would try disabling it from start-up & see if it has any ill effects from doing so, you can always reenable it if it causes problems

    Also could try re-installing latest Ati Driver for your card, do make sure you have .Net installed as Cat Control Centre needs it to run properly, or just uninstall the Cat Control Centre, did this on my laptop as didnt see a need for it.
