error message when reinstalling antivirus

    I had AVG and have tried other programs but I remove them when the "free" programs ask me for money. I finally tried to install Microsoft security ess. but I got this message: An error has occurred in the programming during the initialization. If this problem continues, please contact your system administration. Error code 0x80073b01 I've tried removing it from the C.P. and used revo uninstaller to have it totally removed, yet I cannot get a Fresh reinstall of the antivirus. I am going unprotected right now. what do I do? Thanks

    I may have to send you to the Software Forum. This issue with MSE seems to happen frequently and what works for some people is to uninstall MSE and reinstall. But this does not work for everyone..... only for a few people. You should read this >> http://experts.windows.com/w/experts_wiki/89.aspx

    Let's see if any signs of other security software remain. Please run MGtools as instructed in the below and attach the MGlogs.zip file.
