Error message while installing Palm PDA software

    I am using W2k and I get the following error when trying to install Palm Pilot PDA Software.

    _INS5176_MP.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program. Tried several times and still cannot get it to install.

    The pc has all security patches and updates on the pc. Anyone have any idea what this is caused by?

    The pc is a dell GX 110 Slimline with a Celeron 866 processor and 128 mb SDRAM, it also has a 20 GB HD, video, nic, sound are all integrated on the board
