Everytime I delete file(s) there is a copy made of it.

Everytime I go and delete a file from a folder, it is not sending it to the recycle bin, instead it makes a copy of it. For example I have tried one file or multiple files and I tried right click delete or pressing delete key on the keyboard and nothing helps.

I tried searching the forums for this problem and didn't come across anything so if there is another post for this I apologize.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

This would happen to be an extra hard drive inside the computer that used to have an old installation of windows and I am trying to delete *any* files from the 'My Documents' folder and some other places.
