Excel 2003 can't do math w/Win7 Ultimate 64bit

    this is a very strange one - I use Office 2003 under win7 ultimate 64bit
    it has issues. very stable, as are all parts of Office 2003 but it makes math errors :-o
    I have no clue what's going on and the search of the usual places turns up a lot of the wrong sorts of issues... terminology issues.

    anyone seen? surely this isn't unique to my rig.
