I know this is a trojan file according to processlibrary but the online virus scan I was using does not detect it. I have Vista and it keeps informing me that exec.exe is trying to run so I block it everytime, but it's getting annoying and I don't know how reliable Vista is going to be. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Are you running AOL's AIM? If so, the exec.exe file is more than likely part of AIM. You could try stopping AIM from loading or uninstalling AIM just to make sure.

yes I am running aol aim. Come to think of it... it only pops up if I have aim running, or have it in my system tray.

Thus it is part of AIM and you need to allow it to run.
