Explorer user prompt window

    This morning as I was surfing the net I had a window pop up,,, Explorer user prompt and It wanted me to click OK or cancel. I didn't know what it was so I just closed it using Ctrl Alt Del.... I never seen this before,what would cause this and what is it.
