Extract .rar

I want to extract files archived as .rar. Anyone know where I can get a good deal on the winrar program, or is there a better program for extracting .rar?

 

Try TUGZip or 7Zip. Both are free and available in the Miscellaneous downloads here at MajorGeeks. (Personally, I like TUGZip; and I know it works with .RAR files as I've extracted 100's of 'em with it! )

And of course, Winrar's warning about your evaluation period having expired is just a suggestion to donate/buy. Just close the window and the program works forever.

TugZIP and 7ZIP both are quality I agree.

Theres a program here to download for free on one of my magazines websites for a limited time. Its a full commercial app for free. I haven tried it myself yet but you may be interested, Im unsure if it deals with RAR or not:-
