file conversion help ???

I need a free program which can effectively convert a ".ost file to a .pst file" and have no problems in the conversion, I tried one program that did not work.

Was that program you tried a free one? I don't think you're going to find freeware to do this. From what I've seen, this is going to cost you significant bucks. For example: http://convert-ost-to-pst.convert-ost-to-pst.qarchive.org/

Perhaps you could explain the problem in more detail. Perhaps there's another solution.

 

As mentioned above, I doubt that there's any freeware to do this. There are, however, some free demo programs out there. Whether the demo's will do the complete job remains to be seen; I haven't used 'em so I don't know. They may be like some data recovery tools: they show you the data, but don't recover it unless you shell out the $$$. Anyway, here's some links that you may find helpful:
