File recovery/integrated secure deletion

Hi,

Newbie wanting some advice please!

I have searched the forums and found several relevant threads but none that quite answers my question.

Im just trying to tidy up my hard drive, no big deal but now I am curious!

I have defragged my drive and then wiped free space using Sure Delete
(from ttp://www.wizard-industries.com/sdel.html)

several times, but then when I run PC Inspector Smart Recovery(from http://www.pcinspector.de/smart_media_recovery/uk/welcome.htm)

and recover to a second drive, it still finds files.

Now since PC inspector can find the data, it should be possible to target that particular area and do an intelligent wipe.

So my question is, does anyone know of aprogramme that combines the file recovery with secure deletion?
