I'm using windows xp. AMD anthlon 2600+

So i just plugged in my new firewire pci card into my motherboard and that went smooth untill i went to turn the computer on, and it gets to the loading screen right after it searches for the drives and such, and the little gray bar at the bottom of the screen completes, but right after that a it switches to a blue screen saying all this information about a bios.
Now i reboot and it gets to the point where the blue screen first appeared, and asks me to start in safe mode, safe mode with networking, or safemode with commands.
I obviously did something wrong but im not sure how to fix it...
    and ideas?
sorry for the really bad description haha.
