Firefox freezes when I remove my USB head phones

    Anyone have any idea why firefox freezes when I remove my usb headphones out of the usb port? It's not that big of a deal but its just kind of annoying.

    USB headphones are basically a USB sound card with speakers attached. If you boot up firefox it will use the soundcard in your headphones. When you remove it you have effectivly pulled out the soundcard that firefox was using. Windows may switch to your onboard sound but Firefox will need restarting to change the audio device.
