Firefox/IE Copy&Paste problem

So recently my Firefox and IE6 browser stopped letting me copy and paste.
My other programs such as GAIM and MSN Messenger work fine with copying and pasting.
I've tried every shortcut possible and still no luck.
Also I tried running clipbrd.exe and nothing came up
I'm using the lastest versions of all the above software, btw.

 

no one has an answer to my problem? :/

I cannot help you with Firefox...I don't use it
This may help in IE6/on XP
on IE's toolbar click Tools>Options>Internet Options
On the Security tab>Custom Level
Scroll down to Miscellaneous> 'Drag and drop or Copy and paste files'
Make sure 'Enable' is checked

well i found another solution

go to program files
find the firefox.exe
rename it to afirefox.exe
it works perfect
apparently something is targeting it..
and im not the only one w/ the problem
i searched their site and TONS of ppl have the same problem.
